Very tender lamb for her, halibut for me. Both dishes were first class. Great little restaurant with friendly staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch stop at Inver Restaurant. Food was excellent and the service was too. Great location by Loch Fyne with views over the loch. Very comfortable surroundings and very friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.

Having read some of the less favourable reviews, I must say we totally agree with them. We have visited this restaurant many times over the years with family and friends and always look forward to it. The setting, the atmosphere and the delicious food made the 50 minute drive so worth while. No longer. I'm not sure what the owners... More

Visited in our Motorhome, which we could leave overnight, to fully enjoy scenery, walking and great hospitality. Lots of home made delicacies ( best butter ever tasted, and specialty gin and tonics very special). Seafood so fresh and everything cooked and served with enthusiasm and passion. Would thoroughly recommend.

Awful. Pretentious simple food & overpriced. Ridiculous wait between courses. If you want good food in Argyll try the george or samphire, this place is a fashionista hit. Won't last long and deservedly so.

We travelled specially to visit Inver, having read the reviews, and we were very glad we did. We had a lunch one day and dinner the next. Both were fantastic, I'd go again in a heartbeat, shame that it's so far away.

We made a snap decision to take the ferry from Tarbert instead of sticking to our planned itinerary. After the short trip over our gps took us on the coastal road, which in itself was a great detour. Then we happened upon Inver - what a delight. The staff, the setting and the food. All amazing. If you have the... More

The location of this restaurant is worth the journey, it's idyllic. The restaurant itself is so interesting with the food books and the vinyl collection is wonderful, playing low key on a turntable. The old part of the house with the real fire and soft furnishings and the dining room, seemingly very Nordic all wood and windows to show off... More
