Overall: 4.5 Food 4 Service 4 Value 5 Ambiance 5 When I travel, I tend to try the eateries recommended by the locals and off the beaten (tourist) path. Boy, was I happy that I tried this little gem. From homemade flavorful bean soup to innovative tacos to potentially the best quesadilla I've ever had, this place was consistent. Ambiance... More

Lot's of different choices and flavors. Excellent prices for the small tacos. Interesting decor. Worth coming here for at least one night on your vacation.

The staff was so helpful in explaining the 9 different salsas and appetizers they immediately bring to you as you sit down, which is impressive in itself. The menu will have any and every taco that you can imagine, and the waiter/cook will answer any question you have about taste, texture, temperature, etc. We went on the recommendation of a... More

I had two quesadillas. One chicken and the other mixed meat, both good. My hubby had two tacos. One was rib and the other the beef tongue. They were absolutely delicious. Had a soup appetizer and flan for dessert. We both had a tamarind Marguerita. They were a little sweet but tasty enough. Total bill $28 Canadian including a 20%... More

The Hangman (El Ahorcado) serves up fantastic cheap eats in an authentic super casual atmosphere. Restaurant was super busy when we arrived (we got the last table) but service was friendly and efficient. Great tacos and quesadillas - their corn tortillas were probably the best I had while in Cabo. Full bar. They have a myriad of interesting and delicious... More

We love Hangman. Their tacos and quesadillas are excellent and very cheap since the dollar is strong against the peso and this is still a place where locals eat too. We love the following tacos and quesadillas; Champoines (mushroom), Huitlachoche (corn mushroom), Pollo a la Espanola (Spanish style chicken). And finish the dinner with Flan. It's the best. Do be... We ate here our last meal on vacation, and it was easily our favorite meal. The habanero cream sauce, habanero soaked carrots and all the homemade sauce options are absolutely remarkable. We had the bean soup, six beers, a couple of diet cokes, six tacos, and the flan for dessert, all at $18 USD, before tip. Stupid cheap for the... More

the hangman is a little out of the way and off the main drag, but the food is excellent and very cheap. A somewhat limited menu, you basically get tacos, small quesadillas, or a cheese dip (optionally with meat), but it is definitely worth it. originally recommended as a place locals go, it appears to be gradually catering a bit... Found it on tripadvisor. Really cool looking building that is open air. The food was really inexpensive but good. Great place for lunch away from the hotel style vanilla eateries
