El Toro Guero is a simple, local restaurant with great seafood. We so enjoyed the seafood platter for four people that was recommended which included fresh fish, stuffed clams, shrimp cooked in a few different styles, octopus, scallops and side dishes. The margaritas were also...More

This is an affordable locals spot. I highly recommend any dish with shrimp. Lots of families here. Definitely not fancy but delicious food. Good service too.

Do you serve breakfast? We're thinking about going to the airport early and stopping by before hand. If yes, what's the favorite bfast dish?

Is this restaurant located on route 1, or is it more towards the town center (square?). I'm seeing conflicting directions when I look it up as its listed as Mariscos El Toro Guero as well as El Toro Guero with differing location

It's across the street from and open field. It's also located not too far from the main square. I was able to walk to it after getting off the bus in town. It was a 5-10 minute walk. Sorry not sure of any street names.

As far as I know, El Toro Guero is open 7 days a week. I don't know about Holy Week in April though.
