Our experience at Suviche was mostly good. The rolls, service, and edemame were all great. Our group's opinion was that for the $500.00 we spent for a party of four, we felt hungry when leaving. One person ordered the beef cooked on a rock as a meal. It was six pieces of super, super thin beef....almost like sandwich meat. I... More

We had a good meal with our group of 8. However, there were miscues in service such that 2 of us had finished our dinner when the others entrees arrived.

Even though three of the party were vegetarians and there wasn't a lot of choice for us. The two meat eaters loved the hot stone tenderloin and salmon which they cooked in front of us (not great as veggies but I am sure others would enjoy this novel dish). The service was great and ambience was excellent overlooking the sea.... More

When it comes to Sushi, I am a traditionalist… the restaurant Manager Guadalupe, insisted I tried a Truffle Nigiri… it was amazing, one of the best things I have ever tasted. Even though Suviche is a bled of Mexican – Japanese - Sushi & Ceviche – hence the name, the traditional sushi dishes are amazing! We sat at the Sushi... More

Our dinner at Suviche was our favorite dining experience during our stay at The One and Only Palmilla. Fresh sushi and flavorful ceviche (especially liked the tuna with watermelon and habenaro.) Not without a few service mishaps but the manager remedied things quickly and the food made up for it.

I was skeptical at first because I'm a huge fan of Niksan and "unusual sushi/sashimi. I prefer to step away from the traditional and I thought because of the Japanese chef here, this menu would be too strictly traditional. We were lucky enough to sit in front of sous chef Cesar, and he did a terrific job pleasing our palates!... More

Chef Yoshiaki is a genius! I am an absolute fan! I love to sit at the bar and just eat his delicious nigiri creations one after the other. His nigiri have a great european twist, like tuna with truffle. Its all amazing! The restaurant was recently redesigned and it looks great. Its one of One & Only Palmilla's brilliant restaurants.... This restaurant (whose name is a word blending of sushi and ceviche) was our favorite choice at Palmilla. Start with the Grilled Edamame. Delicious. The grilling made edamame appealing even to my husband. The Shrimp Tempura roll and the nigiri were also especially good. Even if you are not sure whether you like ceviche, try the Traditional Ceviche that comes... More

Eight of us dined here, enjoying a fabulous blend of sushi, sashimi and rolls. A landlubber among us enjoyed her miso soup and stone-cooked beef. The sushi was beautifully presented, as well: one roll, with truffle oil, had tiny, razor-thin radishes on top that looked like sombreros. I didn't love the stone-cooked items, except for the spicy shrimp. Seemed more... More
