Went for lunch. The setting is wonderful, either inside or outside. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpfull. Food was excellent, my friend is a manager of a big named restaurant, so for her to be impressed is something.

This is a pub and the food reflected this. Nothing fancy just good honest food, freshly cooked. Fish and chips were very good with crispy batter, personally, I would have preferred chunkier chips and even the crushed peas( not my favourite )were good. We chose 3...More

Hello, do you still allow dogs into your pub, I am thinking of buying a caravan in Mersea island and need to find a place to eat which will allow me to bring my dog.

Description
The Victory at Mersea is a very popular pub/restuarant/inn right on the waterfront on Mersea Island, with great views of the Blackwater estuary. There is a large beer garden with plenty of room for alfresco dining and a separate childrens play area.
