We love to try local places with limited western food and where the prices are not always in dollar :) Just next to Asean hotel and across the Koh Kong City Hotel you will find "Baan Peak Mai restaurant". Not the most romantic place, but clean and very friendly service. You will pay a normal price (dinner, 4 persons, less... More

Over the years I have eaten many times at Baan Peak. It has moved. Originally it was in a really nice atmospheric spot outside; under straw roofed enclosures next to Pan Pan Disco on a corner. Now it is next to the Asian Hotel on the riverfront in a large, glass enclosed, brightly lit restaurant space. Something has definitely been... More

Would absolutely recommend, especially for dinner - location is at the Asean Hotel at the riverside now, clean, a/c, nice crew, english was not a problem. Low priced, quality food - you can see them preparing with fresh ingredients.

The food is decent Khmer food and the only nice part is that its cheap. Ate there twice since one night we were starving and knew it was relatively safe after eating there the past night. Both nights we ate for under $5 per person. The staff doesn't speak a lick of English but didn't have any trouble communicating with... More

This restaurant has relocated to the Asian hotel, which is on the riverside opposite Cafe Laurent, near the Acleda bank. My girlfriend and I are Vegan, which can be difficult in Southeast Asia sometimes. We went in to check out and see if it might work as Thai can often be customized to be vegan, and we were very surprised... More

Good phad thai, excellent deep fried tofu tamarind sauce! Very bad coffee though compared to other places in Cambodia!

We were looking for vegetarian dishes in Koh Kong and we were surprised in a very positive way. We agree on the comments written before. The owner must have closed down the old restaurant and re-opened the new restaurant Baan Peakmai in the Asian Hotel building across the street from Koh Kong Bay Hotel. Absolutely recommendable place!

Stayed in koh kong for a few days and ate pretty much everywhere. Although the food here is not Khymer, it was by far the best meal in koh kong. As a matter of fact, I've now been in Thailand for 2 weeks and I've yet to find a better pad Thai than at Baan Peak. Great value compared to... More
