Delicious food and fast service. Everyone was pleased with what they had ordered and we will probably return when we go back to Cornwall in April.

My husband and I went to the Sunday night quiz, we had a lovely meal and the quiz was fun, even though we didn't win, the staff made us very welcome and thanked us personally for supporting the night, we would definitely return here again and it is perfectly situated on the beach, so great views.

Fabulous bar loverlooking the main beach. Dog friendly with fabulous food, reasonably priced. Busy even in winter!

This is the best place to eat and drink in the village, fabulous views of the surf and cliffs (be wary though - the window seats get snapped up and there are no reservations). Food is fairly standard pub fare, with burgers, pizzas, fish & chips. It's pricey but excellent quality, although I have to admit at the time we... More

This is one of my favourite places in Cornwall. I make it my 'go to' place EVERY time I'm in the county. It's late December and that odd week between Christmas and New Year. Lunchtime. The place is packed. There is an hour wait on the food, but I don't mind. It just gives me more time to sit here... More

The broccoli and blue cheese soup was delicious, give the white hot chocolate a miss though! Great location.

It was a bleak and blustery day when we parked our car in the car park and headed of in search of the Blue Bar which had been recommended to us by a friend. It was so worth it. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in was a real buzz and we were lucky enough to get one of... More

If you get to visit The Blue Bar in Porthtowan you are very lucky. It is, without doubt a world class destination and a fantastic venue. The view from the Windows is unrivalled and its a spectacular part of the world. It's also true however that the owners are very lucky. If they had ANY competition they would close. I... More

Just as well this place is in a spectacular location because if it was anywhere else it would be closed. The place is grubby, sticky and altogether tired. The wait for two coffee's was spectacular at more than 20 minutes,a snappy explanation was given when two coffee' s where taken into the kitchen before us being served.
