15 minutes scenic drive from St Ives and you will arrive at Zennor: a beautiful (very) old pub; narrow, cosy, roaring walk-in fire place and 4 real ales; I chose the dark malty ale ( Skinners I think); very good. Legs toasty now.

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We went on the costal walk which stars at the pub car park after two hours we returned to the pub soaked, the bar had a roaring log fire and was so inviting, the staff were lovely, chatty and welcoming. We had a snack for lunch which was good value and delicious. The Evening menu looked good. We would have... More

Nice cosy bar area. Cold unwelcome restaurant area. Food was dismal. Gents loo was a outside shed. The village location does not deserve such a poor offering as this.

Brian, I'm really sorry to hear that your recent visit to our wonderful, historic pub was disappointing. In general our guests seem to love the pub and the food we provide - but it was obviously not up to the standards we expect or you deserve. I can only apologise that it didn't live up to the promise of good... More

Top pub to have a refreshment or a cheeky beer set in a tiny quaint place dont walk to fast or you will be out the other side of it some stunning coastal walks just at the back of the pub and the beer garden is perfect on a warm day not much to do but relax and unwind lovely

Stop in for a late lunch after a coast walk and have a very tasty pub lunch. Cozy, warm and very friendly staff. Really great fish and chips.

Well, this is one of the best Sunday dinners I have ever had in a pub, the flavours came through and the slab of beef cooked perfect. The staff friendly and polite, nothing was to much trouble. Impressed with the service.

Perfect pub, nice garden (didn't use it as well it was too cold) and very close to the house where DH Lawerence wrote Women in Love. A small selection of traditional ales, but very well kept. I had home made soup which was delicious. We stayed in the bar area of the pub where the open fire was. The atmosphere... More

Had seen the reviews for the Tinners Arms, and as we were staying nearby decided to drop in for Sunday lunch. We were lucky to get a seat as it was bustling with customers. Our roasts were served reasonably quickly considering it was so busy and was well above our expectations. Lots of well cooked vegetables, tender roast beef and... More

This is what a Cornish pub is all about! Dropping down into Zennor after a very brisk walk on the coast path there is nothing better than to open the door and step into the warmth of this traditional pub complete with blazing fire, a buzz of conversation, welcoming staff and a large glass of red wine. So welcoming, in... More

Description
A wonderful old pub whose origins date back to 1271. We are delighted to serve great pub food based on a wide range of local and seasonal ingredients. We also have a selection of excellent local beers which we take real care to make sure they are always at there best. Whether you're looking to sit by a crackling log fire in the winter, or in our lovely garden, enjoying the views, in the summer - there's always a special welcome. For walkers it's the ideal starting or finishing point for a walk on the beautiful cliff path - or as a key stop off on your way to / from St Ives.
