Yop! This restaurant's boss is Canadian. So no surprise thta you will find pizzas and a poutine on the menu. Food was good. Greated by the owner. Ambiance was relax because at the end of the tourism season.

Two couples were checking out Ixtapa and came across Franks bar and grill. Tired of walking we stopped in for Pina coladas. The drinks were good and the beer was cold. They didn't have much selection of Tequila but I did find one that was very good. We saw another couple eating and noticed a brick oven for pizza. Would... More

While on vacation last week we got a group together to head into town and have dinner at Franks! Best decision we made! The food was amazing and the staff were great. we may have overwhelmed our waiter but he rolled with it and everyone had a great time. My wife and I enjoyed the food so much that after... More

We stopped by with a large group. Pizza was good, the rest was just OK. Overpriced for Mexico food. They did have a hockey game on.

We watched a couple Stanley Cup Playoff games and ate some very good pizza. The typical pub menu is broader than just pizza. The beer is cold and the atmosphere is friendly for expats and tourists from Canada and the USA.

Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere. A must stop at least once while in Ixtapa, you won't regret it. The owner is very personable as are the rest of the staff.

This place is indeed a gem. I was there April 12th and had the pepperoni pizza. It was excellent!! Wood burning pizza and cooked just right and also cooked by Frank himself!! The place is a little behind the main strip and took me awhile to find it, but, worth the search. There are sports flags and shirts all over... More

Description
This restaurant has excellent food and service. It has huge screen tv's for any game that you want to watch or just tv while you dine. It's also a great place to just have a drink with friends after the beach. My only complaint would be the manager there, she is very rude and mean to her employees in front of the customers. The food, servers are great and the service is A++.
