We returned from San Francisco to dine at Le Manoir a year after our first visit, and we were delighted. The feel was perfect - cheerful, quiet, tasteful, with Fai's personal attention. (Fai is the chef who does it all - our experience is more that of dining in your own home, being served by an outstanding chef who enjoys... More

It was an unexpected gem in an old manoir that the owner and chef, Fai has converted into a peaceful and wonderful food experience. We were taken there by a local and enjoyed his 3 courses so much that we returned the next week. Unfortunately we got the day wrong; fortunately Fai was so gracious and asked us to stay... More

We were recommended this restaurant by a local and we were not disappointed. Fai is an excellent host and chef. The food was the best we have eaten in France. He serves good quality food which he cooks, serves and clears up by himself, he still finds time to chat with you. The menu is well thought out and cooked... More

The chef/owner, Fai, was a delightful host and we happened to be the only people there that evening so we had personal and attentive service. The food is excellent - you get prawn spring rolls as an amuse bouche (utterly delicious), all three starters (cucumber soup, crab timbale and smoked trout with salad), a main (we had fillet beef in... After Classic Le Mans, we had to stay an extra night, due to our preferred ferry crossing being full on the Monday evening. So, we needed somewhere extra-special for a lazy Monday lunch. But, as many will know, Monday is a 'non' day in France, and most bars/restaurants close. But, after contacting Fai at Le Manoir de St Quentin, he... More

Fai was an excellent host and chef. He whipped up an alternative vegetarian menu for one member of the group with two hours notice, provided an infant chair for our baby (who preferred to play on the floor in the end) and served wonderful food. We enjoyed spinach soup, herring salad, crispy duck and home made icecreams. The manoir is... More

We had the pleasure of experiencing this fine dining restaurant on a recent trip to France. The moment you walk in the door, you feel as though you are in the home of a close friend. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The venue is small and serves a controlled number of guests per seating keeping the feeling of an... More
