What were we thinking? We've driven by the "Chicken Shack" for many years, always saying that we should try it. All I can say is, it will be a part of our RP trips from here on out. They do a great job of keeping true to the local feel and the residents, yet the tourists are equally at ease... More

Ok, so when you drive up to this place your first impression is do I really want to eat here? We went here based on Trip Advisor and the recommendation of our taxi driver. We were apprehensive but gave it a shot. The aroma of the chicken being cooked on the grills is mouthwatering. SO GLAD WE DID! We ordered... More

We LOVE Pollo Lucas. Oh my goodness - the chicken is wonderful and we love the beans. We always get 2 whole chickens for 2 of us, extra beans and tortillas to take home. YUM YUM.

They do a great job of catering to folks who want take out the food. They are good at that. Unless you have to wait for a new batch of chickens to come off the grill, it s pretty quick in and out. Don't forget the pickled onions and flour tortillas. Good stuff.

Well, one does not expect this walk-in-to-the-open-air restaurant to have he kind of delicious chicken that they have. In taking to the bloke behind the grill, it's all real mesquite charcoal and just orange juice as a bast. Fantastic taste! I've trie my own, eaten other chicken, but this is one of the best. A few flies and the usual... More

Excellent spot for the best roast chicken in Puerto Penasco. With chicken roaster stands throughout the town, it's nice to find a family style , casual sit down restaurant with excellent side dishes as well and low prices to match. Don't buy individual meals if you are with others...it is much more economical to buy whole, or half chicken and... More

You won't find a better chicken anywhere. The beans, rice and tortilla are made fresh daily and are so good.
