Was recommended this place by the BnB we stayed at, the food was delicious! It's not cheap but everything tasted amazing, the staff are really friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed and open.

I was there with 3 more friends and I went out of there, after my meal, very disappointed with portions, prices and with who I think might be the owner, a tall gentleman wearing mainly black, in order to is lack of courtesy and politeness, however the rest of the staff very polite, useful and professional. Clean place. My classification... More

We stayed in a tenuta in Alezio for 2 nights during a 2 week holiday travelling around Puglia. Although Alezio as a town to visit isn't anything worth writing home about, Le Macare is. Originally we wanted to eat on the patio but when we arrived we found it too brightly lit and chose to be seated in the cosy... More

We have been advised by our guest house to go there and we have been really pleased that they gave us this name. The staff is really welcome, all young, and some of them are speaking decent English. We asked, when we reserved to be seated outside and the terrasse is really nice. The menu is all in Italian but... More

Very curated place. Food is amazing!tagliata di melanzane is one if the best appetizer I had in my life. For the wine try Minutolo, from the Polvanera winery. Prices Are on average. You will certainly have a great food experience here!

My wife and I were staying in a B & B nearby and this place was recommended to us by a local. We were not disappointed. The menu was very imaginative, but not untraditional. Wonderful antipasti, home made pastas, great seafood main courses (Alessia is near Gallipoli on the Ionian Sea). The owners and the wait staff were very kind... More

I've been to this restaraunt several times and I've never been disappointed. You'll immediately feel like at home, and this means it gets better and better everytime. The staff is friendly and the vibe is easygoing. The antipasti section is well structured. The panini bread bites with mortadella are irresistible and so is the pitta, The tropea onions with home-made... More

The food is very good and I could taste some of the original tastes of the food tradition in Salento, as I remember from my family living here. On top of it, a classy touch with an oils and breads menu and a set of nice regional wines. The number one linguine ai ricci ever.

If you are looking for local dishes made with good products and served in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place to dine. Don't miss their appetizers and for the main try what is in season. Affordable prices. The owners Annarita and Daniela are always happy and friendly. Enjoy.

We love this place and make sure we eat here at least once a season. In Alezio a small town close to Gallipoli we advise to book I advance as the restaurant is always quite busy. Friendly service and good salentino cooking
