Authentic Malay food served with a smile and at a price that won't make your jaw drop. Can get very busy so plan your trip in advance.

Quite a long way out of KL, but well worth the trip. Aunty Aini’s sells excellent authentic Malay food in a kampung style environment. The flavours are wonderful, service is friendly , and prices are reasonable. We had six dishes between 3 of us, which...was a little too much but we wanted to try everything. With a big bowl of rice and two drinks each, the bill came to RM129. Excellent value considering the amazing quality. Just one thing - remember to book ahead. It’s very busy! A must-try experience. Highly recommendedMore
This restaurant serve authenthic malay food and be ready for their tempoyak pucuk ubi, masak lemak daging salai and their ayam kampung goreng. Sedap.Be ready to wait a lil because it will be full house on weekend. Be sure to book first.
Nice place and view, but unpleasant serve from worker. Improve plis. Tpt mmg cantik, sejuk, redup cuma layanan nk x nak dan mcm nak marah customer.
The cashier behaved rudely when we disputed over the amount of food being charged and claimed that the bill was correct. We had to explained many times about the amount of food that we have ordered to correct the billing mistake. The servers also took...quite some time in serving the order despite not having that many customers during our visit. The food overall is quite good, but my family & I probably won’t make a second visit.More
First of all i dont get it why gordon ramsay came here instead of masthar.. As a local myself i find the food tasteless and over priced.. The staff is exceptionally rude and always try to push you to finish your food.. I thought i...was the only one yg rasa staff dia rude but my friends also have the same experienced.. Memang last la i datang sana.. Malu i pada kawan2 and family sbb ajak makan2 sana..More
My client brought us there for lunch recently as their office was nearby. The environment and atmosphere is a truly Malay kampung/village style. The food and dishes is out of the world and very tasty. The assam fishead is fantastistic. The curry paku pakis is...beyond words. The fried chicken is crunchy and meaty.More
Came in for dinner with another 3 friends. 2 of whom has been a frequent visitor of this wonderful place. Ordered a couple of traditional kampung dishes,Tempoyak(fermented durian),kailan, fried chicken which i.think we re ordered a couple of times, beef rendang which is my ultimate favourite! The...food was not only amazing,Mdm Aini is a great person too! Her hospitality is outstanding and would love to come back soon! We even takeaway the duck rendang and beef rendang. The taste is just out of this world! A definite must try..though the location is quite a distance from town. Suggest that you book a Grab car. No regrets!More
A garden setting with fantastic local food. Aunty has excellent high standards and world class quality Great place!!!!!
Nice restaurant although slightly off to Nilai town. Restaurant tend to be busy during lunch time. Area has a communal seating and also small huts that has a tradition kampong style. One can dine with the ambience of kampong feeling. Food is great and pricing...is not that pricy.More
Food is very good but the size is small for the cost. The staff aren't the best however it was a nice experience overall.
Beautifull, clean, invirement friendly, fresh food, verry welcoming, best place to start for a Negeri Sembilan food.
Try on yellow chicken, lamb chop and Johor laksa. Good taste of food and good recommendation from the staff. Would come to visit again!
We were recommended to Aunty Aini's Garden Cafe by a friend and also had seen the reviews by the late Anthony Bourdain on his travel shows. The Malay cuisine by Auntie Aini is specific to the state of Negri Sembilan and different from the usual...fare in KL, so we were excited to sample it. The restaurant is located in Nilai, about an hour outside KL. Auntie Aini's Garden Cafe is situated on a busy street and the entrance was low-key and unassuming but when you enter the large wooden gates, a cool fountain and lush greenery. awaits. Loved the casual ambience in a garden setting, a welcome respite from the heat and humidity outside. Auntie Aini herself came to greet us and was so welcoming and friendly. After our lunch, she invited us to visit her private gardens to show me the various herbs that she used in the cooking. For lunch, we ordered mostly authentic Negri dishes cooked in coconut milk (Masak Lemak) and of course the magnificent Chicken Rendang. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Yes, it can be quite spicy but oh, so flavorful. One of my favorite dish is the Masak Lemak Daging Salai, which is the smoked beef cooked in a coconut with turmeric and chillies. That was outstanding!! Thank you, Auntie Aini for the fabulous food and company. We will be back at Auntie Aini's Garden Cafe next time we return to visit Malaysia.More
This is a kampung style restaurant. The food here is really delicious. They have a lot of menu catering for all needs. They also have Western menu. I have basically tried all of them and everything is perfect ( although I prefer sphegetti without chilly...on top of it). Been a regular here for few years now. Highly recommended.More
