We had looked forward to dining here as it is difficult to get a table. On arrival we were met with rudeness by the waiter as we arrived 5 minutes too early. The restaurant has many tables which are close together, hence becomes very noisy. The restaurant had many blue bottle flies, which we constantly had to bat off. It... More

Always one of our favourite restaurants for the quality of its food, service and ambience. Took my wife there this week for her birthday lunch - and it was better than ever! As it was a lovely sunny day we sat in a shaded spot on the terrace and once again indulged ourselves from the excellent menu and great value... More

Our first visit here for a great lunch a couple of years ago prompted a further visit to celebrate my birthday, we were not disappointed. The setting, room, tableware (locally hand made with each piece being unique) all ooze a class above most other restaurants in the area. Everything we ate was superb (no details as there were four of... More

Visited on 13 March 2017, as a couple, for dinner. We had asked the people we were staying with to recommend somewhere for dinner as it was David's special birthday. We also wanted somewhere dog friendly as we had Buddy with us. This restaurant was ten minutes away from our gite, it looked good on TripAdvisor so decided to visit.... More

We enjoyed a truly delicious meal in a cozy and charming ambience. The service was great, the person serving was full of good humor and helpful and the food choices were perfect. All this for a very reasonable price. We highly recommend this restaurant in a very charming village worth a serious visit. We'll be back very soon.

We visited this restaurant on a relatively busy Friday evening and found the service, quality of the food and general atmosphere all to be excellent. The menu was extensive and in addition a number of daily specials were offered. Portion sizes were very generous and we also received both a complementary amuse bouche to start and pastries to conclude. All... More

It's been sometime since we visited this well respected charming village restaurant so we were excited to see if standards had been maintained. Actually, it's even better than before! The service was impeccable and every course was outstanding. We didn't want to leave! Highly recommended!

We had been looking forward to our visit. The ambiance is good but there is no excuse for tough meat..and I mean TOUGH. Our neighbouring table had the same problem too.
