Unfortunately this pub is now closed. Had been looking forward to spending s couple of evenings there while staying in Cornworthy but the locals said it closed following a disagreement between the owners and the management team.

This pubs website is still going strong but when we arrived it was all shut up and looked empty. There were no notices anywhere to indicate it was temporary so have to assume it closed for good. I wish people would close their websites if...More

third visit to Hunters, we try to book each time we stay in the area and have not been disappointed yet. The Hunters offers a really nice pub grub menu with excellent local produce cooked to perfection with excellent service and very reasonable cost.

I had just moved to the area and myself and my family discovered this place. The food was outstanding as was the friendly service. I have since returned a few times for food and drinks.

Not great to be quite frank. Nice enough place in a nice enough place but a bit stuck between what it is (typical central village English pub) and what it is trying to be (harbourside watering hole) kitted out with a few 'shiver me timbers'...More

From the outside of the building we did not expect much, however, when we walked in to a bright airy friendly restaurant we were onto a winner. The chef himself came out for a chat, he cleared and set up tables as they were short...More

Staying local and this was the first of a handful of convenient pub/eating places to try in the evening. Bright modern decor albeit a little sparse but made welcome by the small number of locals already enjoying an early evening drink. Menu tried to be...More

Called in on a Sunday lunchtime after lovely walk from Dittisham. It is about 2 years since we have been here and what an incredible uplift the pub has had from the new husband and wife team. Not only have they worked hard on the...More

I was in last evening, the place was packed and had a great atmosphere. There were five dogs in total and to be honest you hardly notice them! There's a large water bowl on the floor for visiting dogs and the landlord often... More
