Masala is delicious. My partner and I got two curries, and garlic naan while there and it was all delicious. The spice level was spot on. The service was great. I would definitely recommend eating here.

My favorite Indian restaurant is closed. Apparently they had a fire and apparently it is temporary. Just thought it would be helpful for everyone in Banff looking for Indian food to know.

I am not a lover of spicy food but love Indian food. Coming from the UK I am normally skeptical when visiting Indian restaurants as the dishes are normally too spicy for me but in Canada I have found them to be just right. I...More

My husband and I went to this place during a Banff getaway, and we thought it was delicious. Prices are average, approximately $16-20 per dish, but we got larger then expected portions. The food was amazing, and we even had leftovers! The staff and service...More

The samosas are, without a doubt, the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Everything tastes like a genuine home-made meal. I cannot recommend this place enough, even if you have never tried Indian food before.

We visit Masala every time we're in Banff, that's how delish it is! The Eggplant Bharta is awesome, as is the Lamb Saag, however we haven't eaten anything that we didn't enjoy. To make our visits even better, they remember our faces every time (even...More

Like others we ordered off the menu. Wish we were there now - food is amazing. Also, for us, the service was great...very polite, accommodating (let us change our table so we could sit by the window) and friendly.

Banff’s only East Indian restaurant offers a wide variety of cuisine. Specialties from the wood-fired tandoori clay oven, many varieties of curry and classic masala fare share the 65-item menu. Dishes are made to order–mild, medium or hot. Meals are accompanied by the pleasant sounds and smells of traditional Indian music and spices. Art depicting Hindu God’s and Indian life are features of the casual dining room, while window seats afford view of Wolf Street and Cascade Mountain.
