Stopped in around 6:30 on Friday evening, place was packed. We were asked if it was ok to sit at table with a family, which had two chairs available, we said sure if they don't mind the company. We enjoyed the conversation with family during...More

Far fewer options in Lake Louise village than in Banff but this was a good, cheap spot for the outdoor traveler. Diverse menu, though they were out of several items. Had a burger one day and a chicken sandwich the other. Service was fine. Ample...More

Our guide was staying at the hostel near Bill Peyto's Cafe and took us there for breakfast after our morning at Lake Louise. I had the normal breakfast: two eggs, rye toast, hash browns and bacon. My husband tried the fresh orange juice (two glasses...More

We had a wonderful waitress and found the menu to be diverse enough to satisfy everyone at our table. That said, I wish I had chosen something other than a burger because other dishes looked more appetizing. Pricing was reasonable and service was quick. Some...More

We had been to Lake Louise & decided it was too overcrowded & caught the bus back to the village. A short walk away from the crowds up into the village we found Bill Peytos Cafe. Worth it! Interesting menus, alongside a typical burger &...More

Place was too busy for dinner the evening before so did breakfast the next day. Excellent and reasonably priced food and pleasant staff. So glad we made the effort to try it out!

I stayed in the adjacent hostel and only went here for the convenience. Definetely the right decision. I had the BIll Peyto Burger and it was excellent, very fresh and juicy and not run of the mill. Good value for money.

We were tired of the 'industrial' food at the Chateau so we wanted something that actually tasted good. Bill Peyto's did not disappoint. Good beer, good atmosphere and good food. Great place for dinner.

This popular restaurant is located in a hostel in Lake Louise. It is clean and well priced. We ordered the elk and firectacker burgers and enjoyed both. Our waiter was friendly, but service was slow. It was very busy and they did not have enough...More

Since it is the hostel cafe, this place offers good chuckwagon cooking for very hungry young customers who don't have much money to spend on food. We stayed at a nearby hotel but got our breakfast here...the breakfasts were huge! Often we ordered only side...More

It's approx. 4 km from the Chateau Lake Louise to the Cafe. There is no designated path for pedestrians. The road is quite crowded as it is the only entry and exit to Lake Louise. If you are planning to visit in 2017 it may... More
