This is the place for a really good fresh food. The food is amazing especially for the price. The staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is spotless. If you want a Asian meal this is the place to be. They are also very familiar with gluten free ingredients and can accommodate anyone who is sensitive to gluten. If you... More

Very good food, the serving size is excellent and the taste unique. They really know how to make Vietnamese food. The place is perfect located as well and is very clean inside. The staff are ok, and the price is good. The only thing is finding parking, but usually you can find park in the plaza.

We use this place almost every week. Reasonably priced good tasting food. Fresh too. We like their soups very much, all of them, other dishes are good as well. Not a lot of place in Calgary to find good soup. Kids like to go here as well. Family friendly place and can accommodate big group. Most of the time the... More

Rice for King is my favorite place for Vietnamese Soup in Calgary. I stop here for lunch when I'm out running errands. I love the beef curry soup. It has a great Thai coconut taste to it and has great fresh ingredients. Many places skimp on the meat but Rice For King gives just the right amount so when you... More

Lunch today at this place. Sad experience - next to no service or attention. Food was mediocre. Tired fixtures and fittings. SAD experience....not a lot more to say. It was cheap in every sense. You get what you pay for!

Popular choice for locals and slso does a brisk take-out business. Restaurant area is large with mostly booths. Clean and Bright. Service is pretty good by what feels like an extended family team who all cook and serve. Standard Vietnamese fair all good. If you like Bubble Tea you can get up to 20 flavors here. I go 2 or... We were travelling and wanted a quick meal. We'd eaten there before and had great service and food so figures it would be a good option. The meals were delicious but after the 8 of us ordered, our food came out one dish at a time. By the time the last one was served others were done. Our water was... More

We met another couple here for dinner before the movies and enjoyed everything we had. The Rice and BBQ shrimp was the best. I'll go back.

Price is about the same as others the same. Food to be honest all tastes the same so you know the recipes are all the same. Which is nice as you can go from one place to another and get the same item you like. service is ok, nothing great, just ok clean and open, always busy so food should... More
