St James feels like the typical international Irish Pub with the similar decor, and standard variety of Irish alcoholic beverages plus a few local and regional on tap. Food choices are extensive, catering for all preferences. I had Fish and Chips on Friday as it was there Friday special. The fish is Alexander Keith's beer battered, however the meal isn't... More

We stopped in for a meal and a couple of libations before a Calgary Flames game. We chose this pub because it is a short walk to the Scotiabank Saddledome. The pub was very busy, so service was sporadic. We had the fish tacos which were good, not great. The beer was cold.

Stopped in for a pint before attending an event. My husband and I are from Nova Scotia and this little spot reminded us of many pubs in Halifax. We were there during Happy Hour and the tables were filling up fast. We were seated in a booth. As it got busy the staff asked if we'd mind switching to a... More

I've been going to St. James for almost 3 years now. The place is an excelent venue for some NHL or NFL games. The staff is really friendly and they pour the best Guinness in Calgary by a mile. Food is laso very good. I would recommend the meatball sub or the Steak sandwich.

Came here for a business lunch the other day. Very cool and relaxed atmosphere, the setting is a traditional pub style. The food is surprisingly tasty, with a solid variety that goes beyond normal pub food. I had the beef dip with soup, very tasty, real cuts of beef with onions and mushrooms. A good variety of beer choices and... More

My friend and I needed a late night bite after a long day of driving and found St. James Corner. Delicious tacos and a great beer selection. We didn't know what to do with ourselves on a Wednesday night in Calgary but this was a fine place to stop. Really friendly staff to us Americans too 😉! Thanks!

St James corner pub has great food and great atmosphere. Very popular spot for dinner and drinks while watching a game. Prices are on the moderate to high side.
