The ice cream is good, and the location is amazing. The place it's is not inviting at all. They need to make it more comfortable with seating and change the décor...it looks sad and boring.

I go here often for ice cream and have been going for about 35 years. When it first opened, it was owned by an interesting man who decorated with antiques and oddities. It was fun to look at stuff and eat your ice cream and visit with others. He has since sold it and the place no longer has the... More

Great variety of ice creams and sorbets. Wonderful for lactose people as well. Service is good and love the atmosphere for children.

If you are craving ice cream I would save your money and go to Dairy Queen instead. As cute as this old "diner" feel shoppe is, the portions they give you are so small for the amount of money you pay! They do offer a lot of different flavours which is great but for the price they should double the... More

The original My Favorite Ice Cream Shoppe (MFICS) in Calgary’s Marda Loop district is a Calgary institution. However, I’ve never been there, despite being an ice cream fan, because the location was inconvenient . So when this new location opened much closer to home, I was keen to try it.
