Server was nice, atmosphere was also nice and welcoming. Menu is horrible very difficult to read, one of those Kitchen nightmare type of menus. Food was totally average or below. Tasteless, dry, cold, I had the bison flank steak and my partner had the tenderloin steak both were cold and average. Although the pecan pie was amazing and worth every... More

Brought some friends from Vancouver for a delicious steak and they were not disappointed. The food here is cooked to perfection and the side dishes compliment the meal exceptionally well. I had a rib chop and it was tender and cooked exactly like I had requested with a mix of wild rice and black beans. It honestly was one of... More

This restaurant looks very unpretentious on the outside but the food was amazing. We both had the Arctic Char dish without the polenta (roasted potatoes instead) and it was very good. Our friends had the Organic Chicken Breast and the Beef Tenderloin. They said they were both extremely good! We shared a piece of the Chocolate Torte and it was... More

This restaurant mixes a flare for creativity , with traditional yet exciting tastes and unusually beautiful plating , the use of many different flavours and even colours makes dining here a special treat ... they foods are well flavoured, an extensive wine collection and the dimly lit atmosphere is beautiful and is a great family restaurant, or a wonderful place... From the outside, the place didn't look very appealing, old building. Not much parking space behind the shop. But once inside, you will find a warm ambiance. It has a lounge area as well. We tried the corn fritters, bone marrow and the porterhouse project. It is expensive but it was good, melt in the mouth meat, all worth it.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Our server was excellent with a great knowledge of the menu. He took his time to explain in detail all of the features and some of his favorites. Loved the wine list as it offered some very good price points with bottles ranging from $35 into the $125 range. My wife had the wild... More

Friendly service, funky atmosphere. Affordable and tasty! Not an ideal location, as parking can be a bit of a challenge (go around back) and you want to avoid the patio as it is on a busy, noisy street.

Average meal with some unique food choices but décor is not fine dining. I received a beautiful porterhouse that somehow they managed to make absolutely flavorless and dry.

A quiet anniversary dinner for two was a food lovers delight. Our server, Chris, was very attentive and helpful, especially in the wine pairing. The 'platter of local game meats' gave us the variety of tastes we like and the escargot gave us a brilliant variation on this traditional favourite. The mains, as always, were incredible. My 'elk ribeye' was... More

As you pull up to an old building on the side of a busy road you see a pair of restaurants. Open Range and Big Fish. If you choose Open Range's door a large cocktail lounge greets you. We were met by a lovely hostess who gave us a choice of a quiet drink as we waited for the rest... More
