Good to very good food. From the atmosphere of the small, homey restaurant to the taste of the food, we felt that we were visiting a restaurant in Europe. The deep fried cheese, escargot, and sauerkraut soup were the best dishes. I think the schnitzel is a bit better at Continental Treat (just as a comparison to another restaurant in... More

Since moving to Toronto, my husband and I still have at least one meal at Bistro Praha every time we are in Edmonton. We realize we have been going there since we were teenagers, even when we didn't know each other then! Bistro Praha has a relaxed atmosphere with soft classical music in the background, but we love the food... More

Our favorite place for weiner schnitzel, especially the stuffed cordon bleu version! Good quality meat, generous portion and not greasy. This place has been around a long time because they care! Great dessert crepes too!

This is my favourite restaurant. They have the best schnitzel I have ever had. Delicious desserts, great service and European atmosphere.

A group of us went for dinner. We arrived and had our table ready, we were helped by our very knowledgeable waiter who recommended the schitzel. We were 3 Germans in the group, so we were all very familiar with schnitzels and we all agreed that theirs was extremely delicious. My only "but" of the whole experience is that the... More

Decided to try this restaurant for lunch on Saturday. Ordered a full order of steak tartare and a full order of Wiener schnitzel. Our knowledgeable and attentive server brought the tartare, served with fried rye bread and huge capers along with a delicate, simple green salad. My friend declared both were excellent. This was my first experience eating tartare, I... More

While visiting, we decided to try our old favourite. The entrees were only average. The rack of lamb by itself was bland and the mint sauce served on the side was too strong. The veal cutlet specisl was tough and bland. The apple strudel dessert was as good as we remembered. The wine list is very limited.

I dined here on November 11 2016 with my husband prior to going to the Winspear. The concert was at 9:30 and when I called to make the reservation a very nice man told me two hours would be plenty of time so I made a reservation for 7. When we arrived we were greeted by the same fellow who... More

Love eating with my family. They have excellent mash potatoes, steak tartars and fried cheese in Edmonton.

Just a short and sweet review on the best schnitzel available in this city as there are a few contenders to the title. The schnitzel is to die for and it doesn't hurt to have that yummy tomato salad along with the strudel to complement the meal. The wine selection is also quite good paired with the personable and attentive... More
