Having to follow a gluten free diet is very limiting at most eateries but NOT at Brits! Here you can order your fish and chips and onion rings all in gluten free batter. Top it off with a gluten free beer and you honestly feel like you've died and gone to heaven. There were plenty of parking spots, lots of... More

Visited here with my family and was treated to wonder gluten free fare. I had the deep fried pickles and the cod. the GF batter is crispy and tasty and the food is not too salty. The rest of my family had the regular fish and chips and they enjoyed it also. My only complaint is that the decor is... More

This tiny restaurant will make a big impact! The staff are incredibly friendly - they'll greet you the second you walk in the door! You may have to wait a few minutes for a table as there is limited seating. It's worth the wait! The fish and chips are second to none!

After a busy day we finally tried Brits Fish and Chips (downtown) and we weren't disappointed. We ordered take out by phone and the food was ready when promised. Very friendly staff. There was a selection of Irish beers and British soft drinks if you were dining in. We ordered the cod family special - it fed four adults for... More

Always great food. Friendly staff. But owner ! Come on ! It's time to do a bit updating of decor for your dine in customers. A few ceiling tiles, a bit of paint and a new ballast in the ladies washroom light would go a long way. I can put up with cheap cutlery and eating out of a plastic... More

This is a true British Fish and chips establishment. The best part for me, is that they can do everything gluten free. Even the dill pickles. We usually just order our favourite fish and pickles, the chips are great, but too much to eat.

Sausages were to greasy and under cooked. Curry sauce ruined my chips. I don't think we will be returning any time soon. Took a long long time to get my order for take out too.

First time eating here. I've seen it many, many times but have never ventured in to it. A family member suggested we go there for Fish and Chips so we did. A somewhat small place, about seating for about 30 people including in the "ordering" area. So you go in and order what you want, be seated and they bring... More

The taste was just ok. The fries were soggy from grease and the fish was too. I have never returned since. I used to go there regularly but the last 2 or 3 visits were disappointing.

We went to the Brit's Fish and Chips at 6940 77 Street in Edmonton. There were two celiac individuals in our group and they were soooooo thrilled that they could finally eat fish and chips. There were several different kinds of fish to choose from - cod, haddock, halibut, and 5-6 others. They also offered such things as pork chops,... More
