Three Boars has been around for a bit now, and so when Ave magazine listed them in their 2016 picks ... it had to happen. Went with another adventurous couple, and we devoured the chicken liver bomb x2, Oka tarte, brussel sprouts, PBJ wings x2, Falafel salad, and I'm quite certain there were a number of other plates shared. ALL... More

First time visit to this restaurant so we were not sure what to expect. At first glance of the menu we questioned our choice. The server spent several minutes explaining the concept of the restaurant and then the items on the menu. We decided to give it a try and were pleasantly surprised. All menu items are meant to be... My first time at Three Boars this weekend. I loved it and can't wait to go back. 4 of us sampled about a dozen dishes. Everything was good but I recommend the mushrooms on toast, the Devils on horseback, the Brussel sprouts and the PB&J chicken wings. There is a nice selection of cocktails. The atmosphere in our section was... More

Tapas-style, convivial and innovative. Fun experience for groups in particular (then there are more dishes to share). Can be a little too warm in the summer as it's located in an old building with uncooperative ventilation. We worth the trip otherwise.

Disappointing. Lacking flavour and not good value. We went for a celebratory dinner and it did not live up to our expectations. We wanted all the food to come out together but it didn't. The Vietnamese rice cakes were tasteless and rubbery and even looked gross. The wine menu was limited. The server tried hard and did a good job.... More

We decide to grab a bit to eat after seeing a musical at the J- perfect timing as it wasn't to busy yet. The staff are excellent they explain each plate when they bring it out or if you have questions about the menu. They have a ever changing list of micro beers which is nice to sample. We had... More

Creative and tasty food/menu. On our top 10 list of places to go for dinner. Trust me, we eat out a lot and are picking when it comes to which restaurants make our top ten list.

My wife and I and another couple ate at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The decor is bohemian, not fancy, and added to the very relaxed feeling of the place. My cocktail with cold pressed coffee was so good that I took a picture of the menu description with the hope of making something close to it at home.... More

The munu is simpe yet artfully constructed. The lobster mac and cheese was divine. Best6 of all was the steak, 20 oz. Of pure goodness served rare. Mmmmmm. Service was efficient and the staff were quite friendly. The restaurant itself was quaint, an old house modernized yet still retaining lots of wood finishings. Space is definitely at a premium -both... More

The menu was very unique, definitely not your every day dishes. The chef tries to put a twist on his dishes and they were very flavorful. Not much choice for gluten free patrons.
