We went to Chianti on Saturday and even though it was quite busy they were able to seat us in less than 20 mins. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Edmonton, whether it's a date night or a large party they are so accommodating. They have consistently great service and consistently great food. It's a must try.

Service is good, but the food are disappointing ! My pasta and my friends' pasta are very bland, tasteless, just like boiled pasta mixed with bland tomato sauce. The calamari was very bad: oily, not crunchy, the dipping sauce is also tasteless !!! The mussels on the pasta that I ordered taste like frozen ones. Not worthy spending money for.... More

A variety of entrees to choose from and eating start with warm fresh buns. I have been visiting this restaurant location for over thirty years as it alway a great place to meet family and friends, with great food and service.

My wife and I used to live in Calgary, and we regularly ate at one of the Chianti Cafes there for years. I am glad to say that we recently visited their Edmonton venue on Whyte Avenue for the first time, and it was every bit as delicious. Great fresh made pasta, amazing assortment of delicious sauces. The spinach salad... More

Our group of four recently had a dinner at Chianti in a Friday night. We all agreed that the food is hit and miss and this visit was more on the "miss" side. One of the meals was not hot, the shrimp in another dish was not succulent and the chicken in a third dish was dried out. The prices... More

This place has received rave reviews from friends of mine over the years -- many touting that it's home to the best pasta in Edmonton and still others saying it's the best they've ever had. Period! More recently, one of my partner's friends also put this place over as a "must visit" when in town. All in all, the strong... More

The restaurant was exceptionally busy as I believe there was some sort of deal on pasta. My meal was good - it was what you would expect from an Italian themed restaurant. I made sure I ordered a dish with their home made spinach noodles rather then pre-made noodles out of a package. The spinach noodles were good. This is... More
