Kind of like a diner/greasy spoon from the 50's. Funky decor. The food is always good. It feels good to go in, and grab a po-boy. Authenticity? I have no idea - but fun place to go from time to time.

This is my 'have to go to' diner whenever I visit Edmonton, the chilli jam served with little scones is 'to die for', I would actually be happy just to pig out on these, don't know how authentic the po-boys are but they sure taste good and the portions are huge for someone used to English portions, just wish I... Good old fashion food. Good portions and options. Reasonable prices. Great service, great food and well worth making a reservation to ensure you get a seat.

It was with some hesitation that we went to this restaurant. This was do only to the street appeal. Well were we wrong. The menu is simple. The food is gourmet. The service is solid. The calamari is something spectacular. Especially with their sweet potato fries. The jambalaya was generously portioned and a huge hit. The icing on the cake... More

I've been many times. Love the Po' Boy Sandwiches (Blackened Chicken or Blackened Catfish) are 2 I've liked. I'm also a big fan of their jambalaya, which is, incidentally, also big in portion-size. It was filling. But my favourite is the sweet potato fries, which have some sort of delicious breaded coating, and comes with a herb mayo dip. So.... More

This restaurant was delicious! I had the vegetarian jambalaya with shrimp, scallops and deep fried oyster combo. It was so delicious! Portion was very large. The tequila salsa was amazing! My husband had the regular jambalaya with baked beans and chicken. The chicken was so moist. We had the crab cakes as an appetiser. It was good too! The service... More

It starts with horrible cornbread and goes downhill from there. My key lime pie was blue mush. It looked and tasted like toothpaste. Something serious is always wrong when I go there. Never again.

My family was visiting this summer and I wanted to give them the Whyte Ave Dadeo's experience. I've been there before and the food is awesome. Even though it was nearly 3pm, empty tables everywhere, we were not allowed in the restaurant because they have a 'no kids allowed' sign, so my 12 and 13 year old niece and nephew... More

A cool diner vibe, with amazing new orleans inspired food.. try the Po'boy sandwiches.. my favorite is the fried oyster Po'boy... the staff are friendly and FAST.... plan on reservations or get there early... at dinner time the wait can be out the door. Best part for me is no kids.. the liquor license for the place is a bar... More

Everything about DaDeO is spectacular! The food is delicious (try the catfish po'boy), the service is quick and friendly, the atmosphere is phenomenal. They even decorated the graffiti in the bathroom with a sarcastic letter. Love this place so much!
