My husband swears by this place, he used to go there everyday, so I decided to give them a try. We each ordered a sandwich and a slice of pie. They made it right in front of us. The food was very delicious and the pie was delectable. My only down is that the servers didn't really smile or make... More

I've been to this soup and sandwich shop quite a few times, and it never disappoints me. It's been in business for over 30 years, so they must be doing something right! It's in a small industrial park on 170 Street in the west end of the city, and you really need a car to get there. They've recently renovated,... More

Very busy at lunch time but the sandwiches are made fresh and lots of choices. Their dessert is worth the trip. Great place!

We have ordered for delivery many times and it has always been on time. The food has always been great; a soup, salad, sand/wrap with squares for dessert is always what we order. Comes with all cutlery and plates needed. There's often 15 of us and there is always the right amount of food (just the right amount of leftovers).... More

I had a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce on sunflower bread. The sandwich was fine but nothing special. It took a second to figure out how to go through the line.

I always know that I am going to get a good meal here. I have never been disappointed. It is not a glamorous place-cafe style but kept clean.

Sandwiches, Soups, Fruit and Salad. Fruit salad is not good- the fruit tasted old and fermented. Sandwich is good - you get to pick what you want on it. Desserts are good as well. Nice selection. Quick and easy lunch option. Good for catering work lunches as well.

I absolutely liked the food and the price. I had a sandwich which was a little off the norm and it was delicious. The coffee was nice and hot and fresh which made me happy because coming from Georgia in the US at 75 degrees to snow on the ground was a tad chilly for us. The staff was really... More

You won't find ambiance or comfortable spaces to sit or have a private, quiet moment here. What you will find is fresh meat, cheese and vegetables, and a variety of good breads to choose from as staff help you to create a hearty sandwich. Check out their soup of the day, and do save room for a piece of pie.... More
