We have been eating lunch at Brenda's Lobster Shop for years. It's at the tip of Southport Island on Route 27. I'm addicted to her lobster rolls. It's a very simple place distinguished by good food and a warm welcome. Picnic tables inside - nothing fancy at all. Brenda and her mother hold forth with food and local gossip. Don't... More

The Lobster Shop is a small restaurant, family owned and operated, from catching the lobsters to cooking, baking and serving. We have gone there for years. Best fried Maine shrimp anywhere! Somewhat limited hours - call ahead to be sure. Incredible homemade whoopie pies.
