We had a delicious meal here as part of our visit to Barkerville. We appreciated the character of the building and excellent service. Would happily have eaten there our second night as well.

Since the new manager took over the food has been down in quality and over priced for what you get disappointment abounds

We ate lunch at the Lung Duck Tong restaurant during a recent visit to the fascinating historic town of Barkerville. We'd heard from others that it was good, and we were not disappointed! Located in Barkerville's Chinatown section, this establishment provides high quality Chinese food in a very tasteful and atmospheric setting. Service was excellent and the food was both... More

The night before my niece's wedding family and friends gathered at the Lung Duck Tong Restaurant for dinner. The food was superb, the service was top notch and the relaxed atmosphere fit the mood, Everyone in our party was pleased. I would not hesitate to patronize this establishment in the future.

This is an interesting place to eat within Barkerville. It is nicely decorated with calming Chinese music playing in the background. Service is average-good. Food is average for Chinese.

The bride and groom booked the entire restaurant for guests, a no host dinner. Food was very good and not your traditional Canadian Chinese food. It was a set menu so every table got the same thing. Except it didn't matter about the size of the table. The table of 4 beside us received the same amount of food as... More

We visited the restaurant with the family during our visit to the historical town. After paying already a substantial entry fee to Barkersville historical site, this was another big expense on the family budget

Had lunch here after our hike to and from the Courthouse in Richfield. Busy while we were there but waiter and busser did their best and as long as you aren't in a big hurry the food is worth waiting for. We had dim sum and although it was s bit pricy it was as good as some Ive had... More

In the heart of Barkerville Chinatown is the Lung Duck Tong. Menu is similar to most asian restaurants with quite a few "hot" sechuan dishes. Just the two of us we ordered the "combination" plate with sweet and sour meat balls. I suspect they might have been previously frozen as the menu looked quite ambitious for a place over an... More

This is probably the worst Chinese food we've ever eaten. We didn't even finish it. I wouldn't particularly care, but it was also some of the more expensive Chinese food we've ever paid for. Definitely the worst value-for-money we've ever experienced. I cannot stress enough how awful it was. We had a rueful laugh when, just to top it all... More
