I buy the meat pies from this bakery, they are so good, highly recommended. The bread, buns and sausage rolls are all very good also. It's easy to get in to but hard to get out of the parking lot, a bit of a pain but well worth it once you get in the bakery and smell the fresh baked... More

Wonderful bakery, awesome and knowledgeable staff and terrific place to stop for soup and a bun with coffee. I had their Borscht one afternoon and I can honestly say that it took me back to my childhood days with my beloved grandmother's memorable cooking. Absolutely fantastic. Their baked goods are prepared daily and the quality shows. I adore their glazed... More

Columbia is both cafe and bakery. For the cafe you can select both sweet or savory, and there is soup and self serve coffee. Prices are reasonable and smaller appetites are not overwhelmed. The bakery has the best rye breads in both variety and quality and it is very reasonably priced so you can add excellent value to the praise.... More

If you like crusty, freshly baked, rye bread at a good price then this is the place to come to. I lived in Germany for 12 years and hands down their bread is as good, or better than Germany,s. Rolf has been baking since 1966 and learned his trade in Ulm, Germany. Also try their fantastic Rye buns (Schusterjungen) and... More

I just popped in to grab a chipotle buns for our burgers tonight. I was able to but just two...so fresh and delicious. Onion cheese buns...the perfect flavor with our Mexican style buggers! I also bought a couple apple Turnovers for the Hubs...they looked so good he didn't even wait for after dinner!! This will definitely be a favored stop... More

We stop here on our annual trip to the north island. Never again. The soup we had for lunch was barely tepid and when we told them that they told us to warm it up in the microwave. No apology at all. Once warmed it was still terrible and certainly Not homemade. We chose not to finish it. Baked goods... More

Have been there a couple of times and always find lots of goodies to take home. We also like to sit down with a coffee. Wish they had a place like this in Victoria!

If you are looking for beautiful breads, donuts and meat pies, go here! The bakery has several tables so you can sit, have coffee and eat the delish baked goods! Nothing fancy about the inside, it's very old school but is clean and well taken care. Loved it!
