We've frequented The Wheat Sheaf since we live within walking distance. I've tried multiple dishes. Nothing has been memorably good. It's all just average. I ordered nachos that weren't crispy they were stale, the chicken wings really fatty. It's a local watering hole with mediocre pub food. The menu is huge which might be part of the issue? Maybe make... More

Homemade shrimp stuffed perogies heaped with onions and crispy bacon bits was absolutely amazing. The beef sirloin burger was mouthwatering delicious. Both meals were the best we have ever had as far as perogies and burgers go. Interesting old pub with a lot of character, tells a story itself, lots of locals stopping in, the server knowing everyone's name, lots... More

We go quite often and have had many items on the menu as well as daily specials and have never been dissapointed. From the wings ( the best in town consistently) to the pizza and perogies. When it's cold out, they have a nice fire going in the woodstove as well. The service is great too!!

First of all the food is ok, Hubby had the burger and wasn't impressed. I had the crunchy chicken wrap which was good. We both had the Cesar salad which was good, but nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary. Would we come again, probably not too many other places to go that are better. I usually don't comment on... More

This is a place that locals gather. This is not a culinary experience. A good place to go and have a beverage and a burger etc. Typical pub food It has a good atmosphere and does what neighborhood pubs do and that is have people come and have a visit and some conversation

We were quite hungry and tired when we dropped in to the Wheat Sheaf Inn. The beer was cold, the service was efficient and friendly and the food came quickly. The fish and chips were terrific - it will become a regular place to go for supper.

An afternoon at friends slid into dinner hour and it was decided to get a couple of pizzas from the Wheat Sheaf. The two large creations were loaded with the makings and promised to be a good bite but proved to be uncooked and still doughy in the crust. In honesty this was my first trial and I will try...
