Yes, this is a great place to buy tea and tea-related gifts but the store has many repeat customers who pick up woven carpets here. They are collected by the owners who area known for their knowledge and great prices. If you are a local, you can even bring the carpet home to try out.

I went in here to check out their tea selection and was happily surprised to find that they had all sorts of interesting stuff! The 'weaves' are beautiful, many of them Persian hand pulled carpets and rugs ... great selection and good prices on these compared to Toronto. The teas I bought are wonderful ... This is a wonderful blend of tea shop, gift shop, kitchen wares shop, and carpet shop (in back). There is an old world ambience as the place is decorated with extensive copper ware and old tea services from all over the world. Stopped by here and ended up finding a great selection of gift ideas for a friends birthday. What we purchased was wine and cheese related, but there are great kitchen gadgets, Teas, tea pots and some really unique items, as well as an amazing selection of hand made carpets. Interesting shop with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Beautiful rugs! A variety of teas with the option of tasting. Excellent gift ideas as well as kitchen items. Plan on spending some time as there is much to appreciate.

I have be a regular customer and have purchased lots of items. I recently bought a rabbit salt and pepper shaker that broke 2 weeks after i bought it. what a fantastic place to meet asia ...I love the décor and met the owner Claire..she has a great staff and such a wide variety of things from Asia Indo China...not just tea here! Her carpets are warm and the prices are good. So many little gift items as well. Love this shop

I am always amazed at the selection of everything this wonderful Tea shop has. Beyond the many amazing Teas.... they have the practical/ fun gift for anyone you might be looking for.
