Having now been to several Vietnamese-themed restaurants in Prince Rupert (Lee & Ann, Jessica's, Hong Lan), I think it's safe to say that Pho 88 offers by far the best overall Vietnamese food in Prince Rupert. Everything I've ordered has always tasted fresh; the cooking is consistent (i.e.: meat tender throughout); the service friendly yet not invasive; and a decent... More

Their "raw beef" noodles are a bit disappointing, because the beef was overcooked . The (authentic )way it is supposed to be cooked is let the slice of raw beef simmer in the hot soup so that the meat is tender. However, the beef was over cooked in all four bowls ordered. Did not order anything else so cannot comment... More

Decent pho! Im surprised on how good it was considering this is a small town and the only Vietnamese restaurant I saw. Unfortunately the kitchen it wide open to see and I saw a lady cutting veggies while sitting down and having the cutting board on her lap and a bowl of meat just resting on the counter.

I had lunch at Pho 88 and if I lived in Prince Rupert would try to eat there several times a week, as my dining companion does. The food was delicious. I think I had #27 on the menu which was spring rolls, rice, salad and I think pork or beef and lemongrass - not sure. It was all exceptionally... More

went for lunch and had the spring rolls and Lemongrass pork chops. Service was quick, and food was good. Everyone raved about this place, but I eat a lot of Vietnamese, and was good, not amazing.

Not the best pho that we have had, but it was quite good. We also enjoyed the appetizer sampler with a chicken skewer, a salad roll, and two spring rolls. It was very good and very reasonably priced.

Tasty pho, pretty standard atmosphere. Nothing too special but if you've got the craving on a rainy day, this is as good a place as any to satisfy it!

Always my go to place for great Vietnamese food when in Rupert. Each time I visit Rupert I try to make it there. I've always had excellent service and the food is always the same! Delicious and filling!

it was a cool wet night and after the Ferry , this restaurant was one of the few open in the town, but regardless of that, the service, and food was great, and plentiful. The waitress made sure we chose carefully, and didn't double up on anything. Great Dinner!

Surprised to find this authentic, family run business in Prince Rupert. The portions are large, the service is attentive and the location is right downtown. A good place to stop for lunch or dinner.
