Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Superb view. Great service. I had the Salman and my wife had a delicious pork chop. Top rated food. It's expensive but for a special occasion it was well worth it.

I couldn't wait to visit The Pointe. It was on the waterfront and had good reviews! But the reality was so unfortunate. My server never once asked me if I wanted a refill on my beverage even when I put the empty glass on the edge of the table, he never cleared any used plates such as the bread basket... More

Had a delicious lunch with my parents and a friend while in Tofino on vacation. It's pricey but worth every penny. Food was delicious, service was great and the views are unbelievable!

We are here twice, had the bison steak and the oysters as well as a fish dish. All of them very good quality, staff was nice, wine prices are ok, the only point that was a negative is that residents can't reserve a specific table. As the views are stunning we wanted a window table and had to wait until... More

Both the Wickaninnish Inn and its restaurant The Pointe are well known. Most people assume that if you visiting Tofino, Ucluelet, and the Pacific Rim National Park and Clayoquot Sound, you should stay at least for a night at the quite expensive Inn or, barring that, at least go and experience food, service and views at The Pointe. There is... More

The menu didn't really inspire, whilst the food was better than the menu made it sound it wasn't amazing which is what I would have expected for the price. There are much better options in town for less money.

Really fresh, nice menu, good chef and a view for the ages. Attentive servers. Great wines. My best meal of 4 was Tandoori Sablefish for brunch.

We did not stay here we just visited the restaurant. The overall impression we got of the resort grounds, setting and interior was very goods and the natural wood decor entirely in keeping with the beach front location. The native wood carvings and local artists work on display was lovely and a good representation of the local culture and history.... More

Description
Surveying the panoramic vistas from the westernmost point of Tofino’s idyllic Chesterman Beach, The Pointe Restaurant’s Refined West Coast cuisine and attentive service come gift-wrapped with 240 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, surrounding islands and wildlife. Much of the fresh seafood is fished from the very waters overlooked by The Pointe, and a longstanding focus on locally sourced, high quality ingredients is evident. Dinner is offered on a seasonal à la carte menu, but for the best of the best, try Executive Chef Warren Barr's weekly tasting menu; Daily brunch is a true treat. Out of the ordinary desserts reflect an innovative Pastry program where most everything - from bread to butter to scrumptious chocolate croissants are housemade. An extensive wine list, recognized yearly by Wine Spectator magazine, showcases BC’s finest selections with a broad range of international bottlings. Over 100 Scotch Whiskies and a creative cocktail menu can be savoured in the comfortable On the Rocks Lounge. A true taste of Rustic Elegance On Nature’s Edge - and the West Coast’s best views - are on the menu at The Pointe Restaurant and On the Rocks Lounge.
