We went to this White Spot restaurant for lunch and were pleased with the quality lunch received with good service and reasonable price. We will try other White Spot restaurants in the future.

Once you are out of the security area there are very few places to have a decent meal. Had not been to the White Spot in 25 years did not want A &W or Subway.....decided to give it a try. The 2 pieces of fish were on the larger size, light batter and very, very fresh. The service from the... More

As White Spot restaurants go, this location is what you'd come to expect. A nice relaxed dining room, quick service, and tasty burgers. A great local choice for a family dinner out. If you plan to come for Dinner, try to arrive a bit early, as there will likely be a wait after 6pm.

Restaurant was nice and clean, despite the many children in the restaurant. Food was as you would expect from there. I had the Club sandwich and I should have asked for no bread in the middle because it was very thick bread! I took the middle bread out and much of the remaining crusts. My friend asked for the kid's... More

Came here for my birthday. I ordered a chicken and mushroom Alfredo, chicken pot pie and dippen chicken. I was very disappointed with the alfredo. The chicken was raw and they added to much sauce in the meal. I honestly was disappointed in the quality of standard they served me. Seems to me like a kid could have made a... More

Not generally a fan of the chain restaurants for breakfast but I went here with family and received excellent service and an excellent chorizo, spinach and goat cheese omelette.

We were told how good the Whits Spot restaurant was , and looked forward to an experience. Service was average, the server was loud and encouraged an immediate answer, and the food was only average. I was unimpressed with the experience.

Eaten twice in 2 days and ordered their famous fish & chips ( not bad and comes with vineger for the chips ) and chicken pie on the following day. Basically nothing wrong and enjoyed it with a glass of white wine.

My husband and I have been telling our son about the wWhite Spot drive ins for years. Tonight we thought we'd show him the last remaining one on marine dr. We parked and decided what we wanted. We turned on our flashers as indicated to let them know you're ready to order. We waited...and waited. No one ever came. We... More

Staying in Little India / Punjabi Market

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India / Punjabi Market
Little India has changed in recent years. While some view it as a declining neighbourhood due to emigration and competition, it is still the original site of the Punjabi Market, and an epicentre for Indo-Canadian culture. The many textile outlets along these blocks boast endless swaths of colourful sari fabric, while the local markets and food stalls waft the savory scent of sugar and spice. Indian fast-pop breaks the quiet of the neighbourhood, as it drifts out from the windows of shops and homes, and glitzy storefronts offer bangles, jewels, and silk at reasonable prices. Join the bargain hunt and step into a world apart in Little India, which becomes especially upbeat during the summer, when celebrations and festivities take hold of its streets.
