This is far from just an good upscale version of the usual Japanese cuisine. The composition of ingredients and flavors, and even appearance, in the "deluxe sushi plate" vastly exceeded its mundane title. No soy sauce or wasabi on the side to dip in, but...More

Made reservations for five while at a conference. All the seafood was wonderful and precisely prepared. Sushi was seared which is a form of preparation that is a variation on preparations. We all enjoyed it.

This Japanese restaurant has nice views and nice Japanese food. We had high expectations and they weren't really realized here - for the price we expected more but everything was just "nice".

The place was well located, so it was very crowded and had to wait even for just only one person. The decoration and atmosphere were good and a bit dark compared to authentic Japanese sushi restaurant. It deploys an open kitchen style that customers (like...More

We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly to sushi enhances the natural flavours and textures of the fish, creating a new and exciting culinary experience. Miku owner Seigo Nakamura innovated the Aburi concept by crafting specialty sauces using non-traditional Japanese ingredients to pair with each type of fish. The light sear from the binchotan (Japanese bamboo charcoal) caramelizes the sauce, releasing a smoky aroma and bringing out the finest flavours in each piece of Aburi sushi. Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Fly Over Canada, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus.
