Stopped in on a whim after going to the Vancouver Art Museum and Vancouver Lookout before heading over to Stanley Park. Decent selection with variety. My husband got the salmon sandwich and upgraded to the parmesan, truffle fries. I had a taco combo of fish taco, tomato soup, and "nice" salad (that's what it's called!). Both of us liked our... Usually, restaurants in transit hubs are less than stellar - either the prices are too high or the quality is sub par. After three visits over the last 4 months I can say that Rogue is an exception to that rule. First, the location. The restaurant is build into one corner of the gorgeous historic station (Seabus, Skytrain, West Coast... More

It was getting late and out options were limited, so we took a chance here. Wow! I was truly impressed. We didn't realize this was a healthy eating concept, but were blown away by the flavors and menu choices. The steak, mashed cauliflower, and seasoned spaghetti squash was to die for. The prices were really really reasonable. The restaurant is... More

Wanted to grab dinner with family before U2 concert on Friday. Able to reserve table on-line. Drinks were good. Food was great. The only thing with this and other restaurants is when you decide to go "green" option for burgers that leaf lettuce isn't appropriate when iceberg lettuce is. Will return again.

Everything about this place was just fine. But the star of the show was all of the draft beers. Try one. Try two if you are staying nearby. The food is above average. The service is peppy.

Went to Rogue Kitchen and Wetbar after a day of shopping. My choice made as it is right at the /skytrain station that would take me home. It is not the first time there and won't be the last. Was greeted very cordially by the manager and led to a nice table for two. Atmosphere upbeat servers very attentive, Several... More

Was shopping at GasTown and got hungry. The pesto salmon was great, as were the mimosas. Service was attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back.

Quick, efficient, fun, delicious. Good combo. Try the Thai Beef Salad. Yummy! I sat at the bar for a quick lunch. Had time for wine. The house Chardonnay is pretty good. But that salad -- yum! Warm steak over a cold salad and cold noodles -- just bursts in your mouth. My server was really nice. Everything came fast with... More

I recently ate at this restaurant and the food was very good. I'll start by saying it was a very busy night in Vancouver and this was actually the 3rd restaurant we stopped at trying to find a table. (Friday night at 7pm) The table we got here was VERY small, but things like that don't really bother me too... More

It was a cold wet Saturday in Vancouver and we had just arrived after a gruelling flight from Brisbane via LAX. After a number of Gastown venues proved too busy for us we lucked into this delightful spot at the Waterfront Station. Our excellent server was fast, convivial and very accommodating of two jet lagged Aussies. We shared tapas style... More

Every day funk is what going Rogue is all about. Crazy tall light fixtures and walls that glow set against sand-blasted brick and well-worn hardwood floors. Menu-wise, going Rogue means doing things in the kitchen others said couldn't be done. Like a completely fresh burger served medium-rare to make it the juiciest and best tasting in town. Or corn-dogs your not supposed to want but secretly crave. Going Rogue means your horizons are greater than the "usual suspects" of chain restaurants. Rogue gives it's customer an eclectic enough offering of food and surroundings, that they can feel and be themselves. You can go Rogue when you're slumming, you can go Rogue when you need to impress. You can go Rogue with a date, your mates or with your boss. Best of all, you can afford to go Rogue every day of the week. Need a stiff drink and tasty meal to get you through your daily grind and have enough left over to do it all again tomorrow? Go Rogue.

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
