Whistle stop day in Vancouver and we rented the bikes but needed a bite before hitting Stanley Park. About 10-15 mins cycle mostly by the harbour and you get to Cambie Street. Hipster central! We walked in to M&B and we were hit with choices...More

I stopped in when passing and caught a good smell on the wind. I was very happy with this delicious sandwich and wish I had known about it a day earlier!

If you want a sandwich, you should give this a try. They have a unique selection with unusual ingredients. Very tasty. You won't have a large selection, but the basics are done well.

being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of

Yes they serve alcohol. I have had craft beers there and I noticed cider. I can't say what other options are on the menu.

We make sandwiches that are high quality, of good value, and prepared with skill as well as heart. The essence of our food simple, fast, delicious is the foundation of Meat & Bread. Our first shop opened its doors in 2010 in the historic Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver, Canada, and, since then, we have opened another shop in Vancouver as well as in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighbourhood and in downtown Calgary’s historic Grain Exchange building.
