My wife and I are in Vancouver for the weekend and staying at Coast Coal Harbour. Stopped in to Prestons 2 days in a row for a quick snack and a beverage. Drinks and service were really good and the snacks were awesome - some of the best tasting chicken wings ever and the homemade blue cheese dipping sauce was... More

We decided to visit Prestons restaurant while we stayed at the hotel and I must say the food was extremely bland! I had the burger and it was very dry with no flavour at all! My father ordered the chicken parmesan and I have no idea why its called that!!! It was absolutely awful! Maybe the chefs should be tasting... More

We stopped by the Prestons Restaurant and Lounge for lunch, as its the restaurant that's part of the Coal hotel where we stayed. My husband and I both ordered burgers and we both enjoyed the food! The price was very reasonable and was told the children's meals were free!! The staff are very very friendly and helpful too! Would visit... More

I went here on Christmas Day in the afternoon with a couple of friends. We had prebooked with a special deal on the food, drink and parking but the manager in attendance knew nothing about it. It was all sorted out in the end, there was a communication problem apparently. Special thanks to duty managers Stella and Jessica for handling... More

The food here is good and if you dine during Happy Hour 3pm to 6pm some things are half price. Some drinks are also cheaper. The staff are really friendly. Service is quick.

Went here for a drink and an appy for a quick stop before we headed out. It's clean and service was quick. During happy hour prices are ok, high balls seem the better deal over beer, and they had a happy hour half price menu. We ordered the cheeseburger spring rolls and they were overall pretty good. Still little expensive.... More

Went with a group of people. Very good social atmosphere for us (we had a very private area). Food was good (Salmon fantastic), Portion size would be a small criticism, drinks were a little to creative for my liking.

We had both breakfast and supper here. Breakfast was in the restaurant itself and they have very little in the way of disabled seating. Two small tables in fact. They both were full and they had to ask a man to move. On arrival one of the wait staff stood and stared at me for the whole time while they... More

Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
