This place is little but between the spice of the food and the smiles of the owner it's filled with the kinds of good things a restaurant should have - flavor and friendliness. It's not a pretentious place but the food was great! I only went once but I wish I could have gone again! Great staff & tasty food... More

What a great find! Delicious chicken tikka masala and lamb curry and without question the best Naan bread, baked on order and perfect! Totally made the meal. Cannot wait to go back again! Definately do not hesitate to eat here!

if you are in Vancouver staying at the Holiday Inn (1100 Block Howe St) or Best Western (1100 Block Granville) - prepare to be amazed. A 2 minute walk from either place will take you to a small ( and I mean small !!) hole in the wall called Crave India. This - quite simply - was the BEST Indian... More

Everything made fresh with good proportion for the price. I have had the samosa, veggie wrap, chicken wrap and dal makhani curry bowl. All of these items tasted great. Friendly service and gets busy during peak hours

Small restaurant, we had takeout. The food was reasonably priced, great portion sizes. The chicken tikka was spicy, but oh so good. We ordered 2 dishes and it was plenty for our family of 4 (2 young children). Staff were very friendly.

The food was very modestly priced, especially for the portion size. The staff was welcoming and made sure that i was very comfortable. Good place for Indian food.

After seeing great reviews about the restaurant, I thought I must try it. I was very disappointed. Chicken Tikka Masala was nothing like what it is suppose to be. It was sweetened with Ketchup. Really disappointed.

Was walking back to my hotel and looking to pick up some food. This place was packed and looked like promising hole-in-the-wall. I ordered a samosa and a butter chicken meal, which comes with rice, salad and naan. Both the samosa and naan were s bit oily, but everything was absolutely delicious! I miss good Indian food, so this was... More

Went with my wife looking for Indian food. Realised that the street was not the best place to venture out. Reached this restaurant, was really like a roadside restaurant in India. We had a Veg Meal and the portions were sizeable. Food was very good and enjoyed to the last bite. If only it was presentable too

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
