Nice choice of lunch options with good size portions. Place relatively small, so go a bit before noon or you'll have to wait a bit. Food was tasty. Certain to head back.

Enjoyed the large share plate which included a sampling of a variety of Lebanese/Mediterranean foods offered by Nabu. It was plenty for three people. Especially enjoyed the hummus and cauliflower. The service was good with quick refills of bread and water, although the restaurant became very busy. Tip: Arrive at 11:30 for lunch as it becomes very busy.

Had their special - Lamb Shank - it was tender - falling off the bone - and tasty as it could be. If you like lamb, give this place a try. I'd go back in a minute.

a very unique experience with pita, humus and everything tasty. Our preference is the prawns as a main. Great location and definitely great place to dine at that is casual but spot on.

Terrific food, good service. Excellent fresh juice blends, which are different each day. Good for a treat.

I eat at Nuba a few times a week. The food is fresh, delicious, and healthy. While the service can be iffy sometimes, the food is always well-prepared. The staff is usually able to accommodate special requests. The vegetables are grilled to perfection and the variety of outstanding dishes makes it difficult to decide. That's why the "La Feast" is... Family members who live in town took us here for a late lunch on Sunday. Mediterranean/Lebanese food. Very healthy - no sodas here. Fresh pressed juices and hand-made coffees. Interesting choices. Vegetarian options. Lunch platters were very generous and delicious. All four of us licked our plates clean. Pleasant staff. We will check out the other locations later this month.

Do not be put off by the look of the place (no tablecloths, cafeteria style decor) the food is absolutely delicious and the staff fantastic and friendly. If you want a quieter dinning experience go early, it became very busy and noisy around 7 p.m. Highly recommended neighbourhood gem.

Cute local place serving delicious middle eastern food. Nice atmosphere, always seems busy. We had the sharing menu and dishes just arrived, all very tasty. Nothing fussy, just simple fare.

My wife and I went to Cafe Nuba with a friend. The restaurant has a nice ambience, although we were tucked in an alcove where it was a bit noisy. Food was excellent. We shared some hummus and pita bread. We tried the roasted cauliflower and found it to be delicious. The menu lends itself to sharing and we had... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Southeast False Creek
Developed alongside the Vancouver Olympic Village for the 2010 Winter Games, a past fraught with hardship has recently been overcome, and builders are changing the landscape on the ground of Southeast False Creek at a rapid pace. With waterfront dining, ultra-modern facilities, sports stadiums, and a load of greenery, parks, and rest spots built into the ever-changing infrastructure, it's a fast-paced and mutable spot to see Vancouver taking shape and making history. It is especially popular for the casual sportsman, as the Seawall on the water makes for one of the most scenic locations for cycling or roller-blading, jogging or strolling.
