We tried to get in and they were rude at the door, the service wasn't great but the atmosphere was fun. I would not return.

We visited The Pint for lunch before a local sporting event and the place was packed - predictably. Just as predictable was the fact that this place NEVER staffs it properly for busy times. Not enough servers and not enough staff in the kitchen. We were there for just over an hour and couldn't get more than 2 beers a... More

I went here to watch the Man Utd game last week and came away feeling odd. While the screens were good and plentiful it was an awkward experience. Although I liked my wings it is odd to have the server/bartender eat his burger right in front of you while working his section. I don't know if this is an industry... More

Made reservations for 10 ppl at 7:30pm last weekend for my birthday. My girlfriend and I arrived about 10 minutes before hand to make sure everything was in order. They actually gave my table away as they thought the reservation was for 7pm! After waiting around for a little while they managed to find me another table. No apologizes were... More

I really like the location as it's at the door to chinatown, not far from gastown and just a minute away from the cinema:) pint before or two pints after the screening was my favorite Tuesday routine when living in Vancouver;) tap beer selection is just fine. pitcher is never a bad idea, as its only about 15$. some servers... Big place, lots of TVs, dark wood, vibrant atmosphere. Got here at happy hour...a free pound of wings with each pint of beer. How can you beat that? And there's 40(!) sauces to choose from. The wings were so perfectly prepared, I had to have a second round. Service was very fast, even though the place was very busy on... More

This place is bad and will never return. Wasn't busy but had to clean our table (asked the bar tender for a rag and he never asked if he could clean it) plus couldn't find a server. Trying to pay the bill proved to be even more difficult. Finally left $20 and departed. Not sure what the problem is but... More

We happened upon this pub on our way to China Town. It was after lunchtime, so it wasn't crowded. Waitress was very friendly. The menu offered regular pub food but with more salads. My teriyaki chIcken salad was huge! Served with caramelized nuts, feta cheese, strawberries....it was really wonderful. My husband had a chicken club sandwich on pretzel bread ....came... More

We stopped here twice while visiting Vancouver. Great bar food and drinks at great prices. It's a large venue with lots of tables. Service was quick and friendly

We tried this pub before the Adele concert and lucked out with it being happy hour. When you ordered a pint of beer you received a pound of wings. Two of us had beer so that was two free pounds of wings to share. The wings were tasty and the service was quick even with the pub being packed.

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
