Was staying downtown during the recent cold spell, and decided to try something a little different. I am a big fan of grilled cheese sandwiches and Mom's Grilled was very good. The workers were friendly and talkative. Since they make them from scratch and cook them to order, it's not the fastest food you will find, but it's worth the... More

Street food and food trucks are a very new concept for me, so I am buzzing to see the diverse food in Vancouver! Mom's GCT is one of my favourites already - tasty food, friendly staff, what more could you ask for! I am a firm favourite of cheddar with tomato, but you can choose your favourite bread, cheese and... More

There are a lot of food trucks to choose from in downtown Vancouver. This one is definitely worth a visit. I never imagined there were so many ways to make a grilled cheese sandwich and they're all excellent! The prices are a bit high so if your just want a basic grilled cheese then while the sandwich will be good,... More

Visited this truck as part of a tour with Vancouver Foodie Tours. It's run well by a lady who has put together a bigger range of grills than I though was possible. There's a daily special and a great range of refreshing beverages... and a convenient wall on which you can sit and enjoy.

We had read all about this food truck before visiting Vancouver. Each day a feature and you really can't go wrong. There was a 15-20 minute wait since we arrived close to lunch time. We had the Hot Angiw which was so good and a classic. Both sandwiches were loaded with flavour and even came with some chips and a... More

Have eaten from this truck twice. The first time we had one of their specialty sandwiches (around $11.50) and it was excellent. This time, we had the basic grilled cheese ($8.50 for our choice of cheese on our choice of bread) - which was okay, but nothing special. If you really love grilled cheese, spring for one of the higher... More

OMG Good. We noticed a selection of Food trucks in downtown Vancouver, on a recent trip. There was a line-up outside of Mom's Grilled Cheese. I had heard about this food truck all the way down in Australia and, yes, it is that good. We had a meatball, grilled cheese special. Now, I know my Mom never used meatballs in... More

Gotta love a food truck outside the train station that serves up grilled cheese. Choose a bread, choose a cheese, choose toppings. Fun and tasty! The truck is adorable.

I love grilled cheese so was pretty keen to try it, but the rather unimaginative menu and exorbitant prices made for a poor experience. If it was 5 or 6 buks for one it would be fine but definately not worth $11 for standard ham and cheese. Slow staff chibbering between themselves instead of making also annoyed me. Give it... More
