We were just off the train from YVR and it was early in the morning. Most places were not open....someone directed to this restaurant. Very good egg sandwiches and very good croissants The staff were friendly......but the service was very slow. It would great on a summer sunny day to eat and watch the funky, yuppie people of the area.... More

I was in there for about an hour and a half whilst I waited for someone and I really enjoyed it. The drinks were good and not too expensive. And the pastries were delicious!! Will be coming back if I am back in the neighbourhood!

If you want someone who doesn't listen to your order, gets it wrong twice & is surly to boot this is the place for you. Also if you want to hear an argument in the background whilst eating between the wait person & one of their supplires you will enjoy this place. Oh, & the food wasn't gtreat

This cafe is ok - the have good croissants and lattes, but there are much better in the neighbourhood. Their almond croissants are my favourite in the city.

My wife and I randomly selected this shop for a light lunch as we wandered along Mainland Street in Yaletown. It was a good choice. I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomato on a whole wheat roll and my wife ordered a fruit bowl. I enjoyed both the sandwich and the price which I thought was very... More

Damn, these are good. You gotta pick up some to bring back to the hotel. Best pastries in Vancouver.

Located in the heart of Yaletown, this small cafe is a real gem. Very tasty cakes (cheesecake especially good) and excellent coffee, which unlike most coffee served in Vancouver doesn't have the "burned beans" taste. Definitely recommended.

The dinner was good but not "out of this world" or anything, I could have made it at home. The waitress was friendly and helpful.

Terrific bakery sweets and bread, excellent sandwiches and fresh salads make this is a good spot to stop - and to shop for a takeaway. Very good staff. Open for breakfast till late evening.

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
