Had an excellent lunch in this Malaysian restaurant. Service is great and the waitresses are all young, beautiful ladies. Food is also amazing. The roti is aromatic and mouth-watering. Beef rendang and lamb curry are spicy and authentic. The taste is same as the dishes...More

I recently reviewed the Banana Leaf location on Denman Street and the experience here at the Broadway location couldn't be more different. While I would never go back to the Denman Street location, I'll definitely be back here at some point during a future trip....More

Really can't say it's authentic Malaysian food (i'm from Malaysia). South East Asian fusion is more accurate. That said, food were nicely prepared and flavourful. Nothing is overcooked or bland. Service is average and they do get busy so a reservation is a good idea.

Yes, I agree. The Banana Leaf on Denman Street does not have any stairs. It is also quite close to English Bay which is quite beautiful. Parking can be a challenge in that neighbourhood though.
