A great option for brunch for kids and grown ups ! Either with ham and cheese, fruits or chocolates, the pancakes are amazing, tasty and beautifully presented. You may also try the granola with fruits and the regular poached eggs, simply delicious. And it is quite affordable too!

This was the best breakfast I had in Canada, and although it had (slightly) big portions the food was excellent, and the hash browns where very good as well.

Everyone got plenty to eat. Giant pannekoekken for kids, omelet for Dad and I had an eggs benedict with avocado too. Delish. The pancakes are enormous - maybe 16" across and come with a large dish of whipped cream too. Our waitress was very sweet. You will leave truly stuffed!

Stayed at a hotel near here and came for breakfast twice. Extremely good service and wonderful egg dishes (we had hash, scramble and benedict meals). We didn't try the pannekoek but several people were and they looked tasty.

Arrived with 3 adults and 3 children. Place was busy but we were accommodated quickly and courteously. Had a private room which was great. Service impeccable and the meals were all delicious. Being right on the water is a bonus and the children able to watch the seaplanes is great

It's a chain restaurant, with the same look and fare everywhere, so standard goodness. This particular location is a bit better than most due to its downtown accesibility and great view of the waterfront. As with all De Dutch breakfasts, a little expensive but quite delicious, with an unusual (for North America) array of pancake choices - like Trail Mix,... More

Always excellent food. It is often busy but definitely worth the wait. More expensive than your average breakfast/brunch place but again, worth it!!

This is a Vancouver tradition! At least one big breakfast at De Dutch. Service is quick and there are many tables with views of the harbour. Breakfasts are portioned generously and food is delicious. The menu is large and extensive to satisfy all visitors.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
