Quick weekday brunch with a friend. Fun brekkie with solid, hearty, straightforward, breakfast. A dash of humour and sass gave us the experience we were seeking. Recommended to those with a thick skin and a ready smile.

Not much to look at from the outside but this centrally-located Dinah suddenly has a welcome bigger than most we were seated by our friendly mail server who showed us the rules as printed on the front of the menu the stuff in this lovely...More

The Google blurb says "dishes out attitude" and "known for sarcastic service", but these are massive understatements. The server's shtick made us cringe and didn't seem very funny at the time, although it made for good stories later. At times it verged on verbal abuse....More

We ended up going to this place twice in three days during our time in Vancouver. There's a wide variety of options on the menu - the "Benny" options were particularly good. Probably the best thing about this place is the staff who are very...More

We hit this up on our recent trip to Vancouver. What a delight. Read the RULES on the website first; if they offend you, don't go. The waiter was hysterical and efficient, while the food consisted of large plates of well- prepared food, but what...More

Brunch options in Vancouver are a plenty, and they're all lined up. This place is no exception. But if you can go on a week day you'll get a great experience. The 'satlyness' of the servers is not fake and you get what you put...More

In addition to being entertained before 10 am and laughing out loud several times, this was one of the best breakfasts around. BC benny was delish and I would highly recommend it! We enjoyed our fun loving waiter and his stories made this breakfast spot...More

Truly an experience. I happened upon the Elbow Room and it was one of the most memorable meal experiences Ive ever had. Food was great and plentiful and the one waiter serving/entertaining the customers had us rolling in the aisles. It was such a fun...More

Our last morning in Vancouver and we had walked past the Elbow Cafe prior to visiting . A memorable entertaining breakfast and the food was the best breakfast we had had in Vancouver. Free randy eggs cooked to perfection . No complaints and a great...More

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

I think they are still running ,we went there in November, they do a very good business and perhaps they went on vacation. They are not open for dinner. They are only open for breakfast and lunch.
