Do not eat here! Many people I know recommend you should - they are wrong! This is the worst meal I have eaten for decades.

The problem I have with so many reviews on services like this and Yelp is that often the negative reviewers have axes to grind based on isolated personal bad experiences with service, portion size, cost, etc. Those are all legitimate reasons to write a bad...More

Tojo's has been around for many years in Vancouver. This restaurant is known as the best Japanese restaurant in Vancouver. I agree that the food is great. But be prepared to pay big $. Omakase, with drink, tip, tax, can be around $250/person or more.

I've been visiting Van and coming to Tojo's for over a decade. This time around it still retained the ambiance of past and the great service, but food didn't seem up to par with the price. Agadashi tofu was just flavorless, although beautiful to look at....More

The food at tojo was incredible but what made it even more special was the excellent service. I forgot my hat at Tojo and 20 minutes later my hat had been delivered to the hotel I was staying at.

Tojo was recommended to us bybs friend who had visited a few years ago and we weren't disappointed. There were 8 of us all from Australia. We shared all the dishes and it was the best quality Japanese, quite expensive but we drank very good...More
