First off the chairs are very low and uncomfy. The tables are crammed together. Both breakfasts looked good on paper but totally fell apart on the taste test. $48 for mediocre coffee and breakfasts. Disappointing.

Picked up a tuna sandwich today. Pretty weak. $10.50. Tuna, spinach, mayo, and ONE sundries tomato that covered about 15% of the sandwich real estate. Bread was stale-ish, but nice bread at least. Wouldn't go back. 10.50$ is premium sandwich takeout territory. This was average at best.

Arrived hungry for brunch and we weren't disappointed. The coffee arrived hot and fast and was a good omen of things to come. The menu was interesting without being pretentious - lots of good choices and an amazing selection of breads. I had the classic breakfast with poached eggs. Eggs were a perfect medium, just runny enough, and the potatoes... More

This place is conveniently located and casual. The staff is friendly and efficient. Wait for a table is not unusual but take out is another option. The food is fresh, original, organic and they keep the coffee flowing. Tomato and avocado benny was delicious and a chorizo item which was also great. Altogether a very enjoyable meal experience.

This is one of our favourite brunch spots. The coffee is delicious, the service is excellent, and the food is great. It's not the cheapest place in town, but it's worth it!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Staff were friendly and seated promptly. The menu is somewhat limited but there will likely be something on there that you will like. I had the breakfast wrap (ham). It was a reasonable size and was well presented. Prices are a little higher than other breakfast cafes, however you receive good value when the... More

Visited this café for brunch. The restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere. The service was very quick. I was in and out within 30 minutes. The food wasn't great, but it was better than a lot of places. I ordered the west coast scrambled eggs. It was a bit salty but still good. I would definitely go back here... More

Had lunch there just because it was convenient to do so. It was 2:30 in the afternoon and most of the tables, although empty of customers, were covered with dirty dishes and glasses. The waitress removed two used glasses from our table just before we sat down without cleaning the table. She was friendly enough. The food was OK, nothing... More

Ended up here because our first pic was closed. Service was nice, but rather long wait for our food, which was only breakfast food.

I came here to work/study with classmates over breakfast. The atmosphere was casual and it was no problem that we had camped out for a bit. The food was good and portions were large, especially for the price! The menu has a nice diversity without offering a ton of options. The wait staff was kind and attentive but let us... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Residential neighbourhood to the ultra-wealthy, the gorgeous manor houses centred around The Crescent area are a fabled sight to behold. Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes.
