True, authentic, home-made...my husband and I loved our meal at this quaint restaurant. The meal had generous portions and the service was terrific. The "ukranian dinner" was delicious....must try the cabbage rolls!

Who would've thought that I would have the chance to experience Ukrainian food in Vancouver Canada. We were the only patrons in the restaurant so the service was fine. The portions of us ordering 2 Ukrainian Dinners were huge! It was around $20 each and well worth it! The meat loaf was delicious along with the dumpling we had. The... More

Had Ukrainian and Russian food before in NYC, East Village to be exact, and this is better. The portions are huge so be prepared to share if you want dessert. Someone on another table had half portion for their child so you might be able to ask for that. Also heard someone ask for hidden menu or special for the... More

I ate here again last night. As I've eaten here many times, I've tried most things on the menu. Portions are very large. Food is very tasty. I have Ukrainian, Polish and Russian relatives and friends and this food really tastes like what they would cook in their homes. I really have not come away and felt unhappy I went.... More

Have not found many good Ukrainian restaurants in BC and the ones we have found have been on the expensive side. Why? The food is home-made verses machine made; and for that reason the price is well worth it. We settled for the Ukrainian platter. Two of each variety of perogies (pedaheh); 2 large cabbage rolls (chose to have 1... More

This place does it right. Always delicious, sometimes takes a while but always worth the wait. Perogies are awesome, the beet salad is killer and mustard is hot.

I may not be a good person to compare this restaurant to other Ukrainian ones since I haven't been to many. But the food wasn't special and was over priced. Drunks were also overpriced.
